Meet our team

Carissa Taylor
Podiatrist/Director

Growing up, Carissa played a lot of sport and experienced the impact of foot pain first hand. It was this experience that planted the seed of a career in Podiatry.
After graduating from the Queensland University of Technology in 2006, Carissa worked in private practices across Queensland and New South Wales. Her experience working alongside a podiatric surgeon inspired her passion for both the conservative and surgical care of ingrown toenails.
Carissa’s passion for her craft and care for each of her patients is what drives her and the Action Podiatry team to get their patients back on their feet and enjoying life!
A country girl at heart, Carissa is a keen country music fan. When not at work, Carissa enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her young family.

Jill Holland
Podiatrist

Podiatry wasn’t Jill’s first or only profession, but it is her calling. Jill is passionate about providing a thorough treatment that focuses on biomechanics, to ensure her patients optimise their mobility and maximise their quality of life. She’s also skilled at performing diabetic assessment, treatment and education, and has a special knack for treating children. Jill graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2006 with first-class honours. She is a mum to two energetic daughters, and has a bubbly personality that is dangerously contagious – beware, you’ll probably leave your appointment smiling!

Louise Dunn
Podiatrist

Highly skilled team member Louise specialises in diabetic assessment, nail surgery and general podiatry. Louise’s outstanding clinical knowledge and experience is a result of her training in the UK, where she graduated from the University of Brighton with a Bachelor of Science(Hons) in Podiatry. She then worked for the NHS in high-risk diabetes foot clinics, and rehabilitating stroke patients. Louise’s passion for wellness extends outside of working hours, where you can catch her (if you can!) on her bike, running or at Pilates. She’s competed in 17 marathons and has a goal of completing the six majors around the world!

Emma McCulloch
Podiatrist

Emma has a passion for helping her patients to move and live free from pain. A debilitating foot injury saw Emma undergo multiple surgeries and endure a prolonged recovery period, so she knows just how important it is to get the best quality treatment, care and advice. Emma graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Podiatry and specialises in diabetic foot care, sports podiatry and paediatric patients. In her free time, you can find Emma swimming, listening to live music or hanging out with her friends and family (her three-legged feline friend Arlo is never far away)!

Shannon Lawrence
Podiatrist
Shannon will be joining the Action Podiatry team in July 2024. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience, having graduated from Queensland University of Technology in 2018. Originally from Brisbane, she is returning home after spending five years in Northern New South Wales. Driven by a passion for improving foot health and mobility, Shannon is excited to contribute her expertise to our team and provide top-notch care to our patients.
